Tom Mason is a founding member and elder of Evanston Bible Fellowship in Evanston, Illinois. He has served for many years on the faculty of Northwestern University in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. He is well acquainted with “The Valley of Grief,” having lost his wife of 31 years, Karen, to cancer.
